Well, I never got around to posting updates on the Greystar Kennels site, but we did successfully raise the litter of puppies.  Icy delivered 7 beautiful black male greyhounds.  Sadly, 2 of them – Aang and Traveler – did not survive past the first weeks.  Then, in a strange turn of events, one of the boys turned out to be a girl!  (We are 90% sure at this point and will be getting a DNA test done.)  It seems that Icy probably received a male hormone shot before they discovered she was pregnant, and that can cause an unborn female to develop a false penis.   After 10 weeks, we said our goodbyes.  Dot and Ghost went to a home in Tennessee and Icy traveled with them to be adopted out through GPA Nashville.  Monk and Captain went to Project Racing Home in North Carolina.  And Dash (the shemale) stayed with us!!!
